the bike y'all have been waiting for, the Holy Grail (not Monty Python) of two strokes:
the 2001 Honda CR250R.
The engine is stock (except for a Wiseco piston and new rings) but the rest of the enhancements are sweet! They are as follows:
- Showa A-kit forks and shock (shock is not mounted).
That kit alone is worth $4,000.
I also have the original forks and shock that were serviced by Pro Circuit.
- Pro Circuit triple clamps.
- Brembo front brake with Acerbis cover.
- Custom anodized hubs and DID DirtStar rims.
- The last brand new DEP pipe for the 2001 on the planet! It was sourced in Europe as it has been sitting there since 2001.
It's the only pipe to increase horsepower in the Honda (like it really needed it anyway.
sheesh the thing is a beast!) according to Motocross Action.
I also have a stock pipe in perfect condition and then another stock pipe stripped of its paint and blued.
- Rekluse Clutch.
- Phathead Racing top head that actually help keeps the bike cooler and looks awesome! -New Dunlops.
-Honda factory covers (I have the other side but it wouldn't work with the Rekluse.
) - New plastics with the Woody Woodpecker Honda factory racing team sticker kit that was true to 2001.
- Lectron Carb Billetron 38 Long Body.
- Boyesen Valve Cover, RAD valve and reeds, and water pump super cooler.
- Honda factory seat (brand new).
- Pro Taper Pillow Top Grips.
- ASV brake and shift levers.
- Factory looking aluminum bolts.
- Brand new swing arm bearings and bushings.
And so much more.
I've ridden it once and it has been sitting for 14 months after putting it together.
