CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:
Retrieve tooling sheet, set up sheet, build fixturing and adhere to all torque specifications, build tooling to requirements, and run all FAI's to ensure GD&T requirements are met.
Able to modify CNC programs using Siemens, Heidenhain, and Fanuc controllers with programmer sign off for record retention.
Advanced knowledge of new tooling technologies, work holding, and HEM tool paths Inspect parts for accuracy per blueprints and models utilizing CMM machines, vision systems, and hand gages Advanced blueprint reading that utilizes GD&T callouts Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be advanced in multi axis mill and lathe operation Must be proficient in the Metric system This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected.

Experience:
Leadership skills are required Four year degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or completion of an accredited Apprenticeship program preferred Set-up horizontal and vertical CNC Machining Centers Able to diagnose problems associated with CNC programs and cutting tool issues Create basic programs in MDI mode Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft, Siemens NX and Solidworks Experience using SAP is a plus Physical demands:
