Position Description:
The primary responsibility of the Director - Sales, Corporate Accounts is to develop, manage and grow assigned ATD corporate accounts.
This includes attaining strategic growth objectives and goals established for the corporate accounts segment of the ATD business plan.
Account types within this channel include large retailers, national auto service shops, rental car agencies and reconditioners.
JOB DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
oDevelop and maintain relationships with key decision makers at each assigned accountoIdentify and develop strategies for sales growth including products, programs, value-added services and digital toolsoMonitor and manage customer service levelsoNegotiate and execute contractsoSimplify day-to-day business interactions by automating business processesoBuild loyalty through partnerships and programsoDevelop annual business plan, monitor sales and profitability to previous year/goaloCoordinate projects and initiatives with internal and external teamsoPrepare and execute high level internal and external presentationsoConduct scheduled business reviews and regular sales callsoMonitor monthly price file executionoGather business intelligence to share with field partners and field support centeroHunt and prospect new corporate account customersKEY PARTNERS (POSITIONS):
oSenior VP of SalesoVP of Sales - Corporate AccountsoProgram Manager - Corporate AccountsoAssistant Program Managers - Corporate AccountsoInside Account SpecialistsoRetail Training ConsultantsoOthers including Regional Presidents, Regional Sales Operations Directors, Customer Development Managers, Inside Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and branch personnelEXPERIENCE(S) THAT BEST PREPARES YOU:
oEducation:
Minimum High School Graduate or GED.
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferredo
Experience:
7-10 years of sales experience with national accounts (tire industry preferred but not required)oSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the company, in its discretion, may find appropriate and acceptable.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
oExcellent face to face and telephone communication skills oExcellent time and project management skills, ability to multi-task oPossess excellent time management and organizational skills oFunctional knowledge of the use of personal computer and/or laptop oIntermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Business Intelligence (BI).
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.

30% of the time, travel throughout the geographic area within the assigned territory and may require overnight stays.
