Senior Sourcing Analyst - IT & Telecom

Position Description:
The Senior Sourcing Analyst for IT & Telecom will play a critical role in supporting the Strategic Sourcing Manager by providing data analysis, market research, and operational support for sourcing initiatives.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the IT & Telecom Strategic Sourcing Manager.
The Senior Sourcing Analyst will lead low complexity, low-value/risk deals and tail spend, and provide operational support for supplier relationship management.
Responsibilities:
1.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to spend and supplier performance in the IT & Telecom category.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to track and communicate key sourcing metrics.

Support Sourcing Manager in conducting Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the IT & Telecom sector.
- Stay updated on market conditions, pricing models, and best practices to support strategic sourcing initiatives.

Operational Support for Sourcing Initiatives:
- Collaborate closely with the IT Strategic Sourcing Manager to gather and analyze data for strategic sourcing projects.
- Assist in executing sourcing strategies and evaluating supplier proposals.
- Support the preparation of RFx documents, eSourcing events, and contract negotiations.

Operational Support for Supplier Relationship Management:
- Assist in the implementation and management of supplier relationship management programs.
- Track and monitor supplier performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Sourcing Manager to address any issues or concerns and drive continuous improvement.

Lead Low Complexity, Low-Value/Risk Deals and Tail Spend:
- Take ownership of low complexity, low-value/risk deals in the IT category, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
- Develop negotiation strategies, conduct supplier negotiations, and manage the contracting process.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate tail spend and optimize procurement processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in data analysis, market research, and sourcing in the IT & Telecom category.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software (e.
g.
, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing methodologies, and contract management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with eSourcing platforms and procurement systems is preferred.
